The two operations were set up separately because the work demands different things from a contractor. Specialist work needs a team that can mobilise quickly, document to evidential standards, and handle situations that ordinary cleaning companies don’t take on. Workplace cleaning needs a team that turns up reliably every day, knows the building, and runs in the background of the client’s operation without making any noise about it.
Splitting the operation means each side is built specifically for the work it takes on, with the team, the equipment, the training, and the operational rhythm that the work actually requires.
